Answear.com enters the Slovenian market
Answear.com, a leading e-commerce, offering fashion and home decoration products in CEE region, takes another step on the way of foreign expansion, and starts its activity in Slovenia. This is one of the most prosperous and economically developed countries in Central and Eastern Europe. The country's online retail revenues in 2021 amounted to. 641 million USD, and the 'fashion' category had the largest share and accounted for 28 percent of all online purchases. Opening a second market in the Balkans will also optimise the logistics process.
Slovenia is already the eleventh market we are entering with our offer. It is an attractive direction for us primarily in terms of e-commerce development and still dynamic growth. In Slovenia, the "fashion" category is very popular among online shoppers. In 2021, and overtook the "electronics" category accounting for 28 percent of all purchases made online. Online fashion shopping in the country grew by nearly 18 percent in 2021, with a slight decline in stationary shops (down 0.89 percent). Answear.com targets customers interested in both fashion and premium products, as well as a range for active people, through a wide range of sports products.

The company currently operates in 11 countries of Central and Eastern Europe: Slovenia, Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Cyprus and Hungary. Sales are geographically diversified, with no single market accounting for more than 25% of the Company's total revenue.
