Answear.com enters the Italian market
Answear.com, a leading e-commerce offering fashion and Home & Lifestyle products in the Central and Eastern European region, has taken another important step towards foreign expansion and started operating on the Italian market. This is the 12th market in which Answear.com operates and the first in Western Europe.
- Italy is one of the largest markets in Europe, home to a relatively wealthy society. Italians attach great importance to their appearance and what they wear. We hope that our skillfully selected offer of premium brands will meet with great interest, which will translate into the value of medium-sized baskets. Italy is a highly developed country with a large population of over 61 million people. Italian society is mature in terms of consumer habits and willing to spend money on clothes. Additionally, many Italians practice sports, which may influence interest in the offer of the Sports & Outdoor category.

Answear.com operates in 12 European countries. These are: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia, Cyprus and Italy. Sales are geographically diversified, with no single market accounting for more than 30%. share in the Company's total revenues.
